Welcome
Welcome to my Drupal 7 + Civicrm 4 Demo site. This site was created to show you some of the things that a Drupal+CiviCRM site can accomplish for your political organization, non-profit, or community organization.
Drupal is a Content Management System, which allows you to completely maintain the content of your site via your web browser. With the addition of a WYSIWYG toolbar, you can even add photos, files, bold, italics, bullet lists, and more without the need to code a single piece of html. CiviCRM is a Customer Relationship Management database, similar to Act! or Filemaker. You can store all your donor and volunteer information in the database, allowing access via the Internet to anyone with the proper permissions. This means no longer storing all your data in an Excel or Access file that is only available to one person - or having multiple versions of the same file because multiple people have copies.
Both Drupal and CiviCRM are open-source, which means there is no cost to purchase the software. All costs associated with them are in the setup, customization, and ongoing maintenance of the software.
This installation has many of the most commonly used add-ons. With thousands of add-ons available - and more coming out every day - there was no way to include them all without weighing down the site or causing conflicts. However, this set up will give you an idea of what your site could do and we can locate the additional modules needed to handle any other functionality you may want to add. This set up also includes Google Web Fonts, which allows you to use more fonts than the few web-safe fonts that are out there. This means that instead of about a dozen font choices you now have dozens. Currently, this site is utilizing Lato Light and Radley, but a quick settings and css change and this can become any font available through the Google Web Fonts service.
Feel free to contact us so that you can log in and play around with the site. Any changes you make will be removed at the end of the day when the site resets to its original state. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like a bid on a Drupal+CiviCRM setup of your own.
